We read Peter H. Reynold's book The Dot, about a girl who doesn't think she is an artist, but her art teacher tells her to sign a dot picture she made and it becomes a work of art, which then inspires her to make more and more beautiful dots. We are all artists and we all created our own dots and signed them. We discussed radial symmetry and made some of our dots around one point or dot!
