In fourth grade we have studied Vincent van Gogh's sunflower paintings. We especially looked at the 4 sunflower paintings he painted when his artist friend, Paul Gauguin, came to visit van Gogh, and there wasn't any artwork on the walls of his room, so van Gogh painted these four paintings for that reason. We wanted to make ours look 3 dimensional, so we made a "pop-up" version of flowers in a vase. Enjoy!
