2nd Grade-Wax resist art

In second grade we read the book Why Mosquitos Buzz in People's Ears, which is a pourquoi tale from Africa.  The artwork in the book has white outlines of the animals.  We made our own art inspired from this book using white crayon and watercolors.  The wax resisted the paint-amazing!
