In first grade students have been learning about quilts in math.  They've discussed patterns, read books about quilts and we invited an expert quilt maker guest, Angela Hogge, to come share her quilts with us.  Students then designed their quilts and used oil pastels and tempera paint to add color to their quilts.  Their quilts came out beautiful and made with love!
