Art Prints

We are continuing our Art Print program at Hollymead.  For those who are new to Art Print, parent volunteers set up a monthly time to come to your child’s classroom to do an art mini-lesson.  Usually the lesson and activity are between 30 minutes and an hour.  Volunteers have the option to attend a training and they use the materials that are provided by the program. This year, Sam Preston, a parent of a first and fifth grader, will be heading up this program.  Last year we only had about 3 parents participate.  We really would love to see more parents get involved this year.  It really is a great program and the kids love it!  Contact Mrs. Foster at mfoster@k12albemarle.org or Sam Preston at sampreston2007@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to set up an Art Print opportunity for your child’s class.
